OK, so I got all excited last wednesday when I got an email from the Red Sox telling me I was "selected" to be able to purchase green monster seats for one game! First come/first served starting noon today. (BTW the "priviledge" of buying seats is $160 per seat...) So, I got ready ahead of time, chose my games in priority order, logged in a few minutes in advance only to find myself in the "Red Sox Waiting Room" where people are randomly picked to actually purchase seats. So when is "randomly" picking people of a waiting room "first come/first served"? I've now been in the waiting room for 30 minutes....Almost makes me long for my old days in Pittsburgh where you can still buy great box seats for nothing right up to the day of the game...
